The U.N. climate change agency says the U.B.C. government is likely to impose a $1 billion pollution levy on all sectors of the U: industries and commerce, and agriculture.
The U.K. Environment Agency says it is also considering a $700 million levy, as it pursues its own pollution control plan.
Climate Change agency says it will start enforcing a ban on the sale of coal and oil from April 1.
China will levy a carbon tax in April, and South Korea is considering a tax.

N climate change office was taking the lead in drafting the plan.
The U,P said it would continue to support the UN. as it works on a climate change strategy.
“The UBNC has a responsibility to safeguard the environment and the livelihoods of people and communities in the U and to ensure that the United Nations is not ignored by the economic elite,” the statement said.
The plan has been called the most ambitious climate action plan in history and the most expensive ever.
It is the latest in a series of proposals from the U.,N.
to protect the environment in the face of climate change.
In February, the world body said it will spend $100 billion on climate mitigation, including $50 billion for developing a green economy, and will spend another $100 million for a green-cooperation economy.
